Just came back from my four days, three nights Singapore trip this year
yesterday late evening thinking maybe it's time to post some updates on
what I did over the holidays in Singapore.
Well, I started from to drive from 11 something on Thursday night after having coffee session with my parents to Kuala Lumpur to pick my brother at his apartment before continue the journey to Singapore, which will take about 6 hours. Reached the second exchange link and then I directly drive to my younger sister's place which is at Tanjong Pagar. We are kind of lucky as the parking at Tanjong Pagar Plaza for the Hari Raya Haji public holiday is free.

Then we have our
breakfast at Tom and Toms Coffee at Tanjong Pagar before taking the MRT at the Tanjong Pagar MRT Station to the Gardens by the Bay, and to my surprise, the Gardens by the Bay is just opposite of the grand Marina Bay Sands.

The Gardens by the Bay consists of some ethnic gardens like the Chinese Garden......all of which are free of charge. We bought the ticket to visit two parts of the garden, which is the Flower Dome and the Falls.

Gardens by the Bay is just opposite the river - we will be moving in from the bridge behind this pic |

The Flower Dome, as the name suggest is sort of like an indoor garden where there are plenty of flowers to show off. These flowers are from various countries from Australia to Africa and to the Northern America.

I think this can match some of the photographs by SLR, right? |

The Falls on the other hand, is about cave and waterfall. It also have some of the walk like Cloud walk and Tree Top walk.

The whole activity took us about four to five hours and honestly speaking, this activity is so taxing for the five of us. We have our lunch at MBS, before checking into the hotel and have our dinner nearby the hotel area before calling it a day, but then lunch and dinner will be posted separately in another blog.
